Subject: Request to Increase Bus Frequency During Peak Hours
Dear TransLink Customer Service,
I am writing to raise a concern regarding the Route 99 B-Line bus service during peak hours in Vancouver. As a daily commuter from Commercial–Broadway Station to UBC, I have noticed significant overcrowding and delays in the mornings and evenings.
During 7:30-9:00 AM and 4:30-6:00 PM, it is extremely difficult to board the bus. Often, several buses pass by completely full. This results in long wait times and makes many commuters, including myself, late for work or class. Additionally, standing in an overcrowded bus for the entire ride is uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe.
I would like to request that TransLink increase the frequency of Route 99 buses during peak hours. Even deploying a few additional buses between these times would ease congestion and improve the experience for thousands of passengers.
Thank you for your continued efforts to improve public transportation in Vancouver. I hope this issue can be addressed soon.
Sincerely,
Daniel Lee
